Over Six Million Residents Of Rivers State May Develop Cancer Of The Lung And Other Respiratory Problems
At least, six million residents of Rivers State may develop cancer of the lung and other respiratory problems, following the continuous raining of cancerous hydrocarbon elements, commonly referred to as black soot on their environment.
Dr. Furo Green, a specialist and consultant surgeon at the Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital, Port Harcourt, raised the alarm on the hazard that comes with the black soot.
