Hon. Uche Ekwunife had won the 2015 senatorial election in Anambra state but only by switching from one of the leading political parties to the other.

Because of this her election was challenged and in December 2015 by Dr. Victor Umeh, her seat was declared vacant. Ekwanife was unable to get her former political parties backing for the bi-election for her former seat.
It was observed yesterday that after her political career ended she turned her campaign office near NNPC filling station in awka Anambra state into a fast food joint. Food is ready...
